One of our foals, the beautiful Red Roan, Kevin The Red, had emergency colic surgery at Tufts Veterinary Clinic on Sunday, May 10, 2009. He was in great pain and distress and we had to make the $9,000 decision to put him down or spend the money with only a slightly better chance than 50/50 for his survival. If you knew this gentle soul, and you can see it in his eyes, you would make the same decision that we did. Do the surgery and give him every chance.
If each of us donated $10-$20 we could cover the surgical fees.
